Through Time’s Unyielding Grace

The moon still hums your name at night,
a whispered echo soft and slight.
The stars hold tight the vows we swore,
though time has kept us far ashore.

Our fingers stretched but never met,
love stranded in the dusky shadow
of longing carved in tears of unresolved fears,
a script we traced through salted tears.

Yet fate, unshaken, bends for none
the tides return, the war is done.
And soon, my love, our worlds will spin,
where lips once trembled, hands begin.

No force can shun what fire has claimed,
no storm can hush what love has named.
The dawn now sings our rendezvous,
the sky ignites in shades of you.

Our burden soon to be undone,
Of loving still to become,
The Quickening of the morning sun,
Our life together to be one
