A Harvesters Lot. (A Poem)

A Harvest Cornucopia
A Harvest Cornucopia

In the dappled woods, where mushrooms hide,
Elderberry clusters sway, purple pride.
Raspberry jewels, plucked from tangled vine,
And sloe berries—dark secrets, aged like wine.

🌟🍁🍇

Quince, oh quince, with your golden hue,
You whisper tales of orchards kissed by dew.
And apples—oh, the apples! Crisp and sweet,
Their bounty spills forth, a seasonal feat.

🌟🍁🍇

Fill your baskets, weave them wide,
For autumn’s gifts are our heart’s true guide.
Fresh fruit and veg, a healing refrain,
Nature’s remedy for every ache and pain.

🌟🍁🍇

To the foragers, the gatherers, the curious souls,
Autumn’s aisles beckon—where abundance unrolls.
From hedgerow to orchard, we roam free,
Harvest’s song echoing through every tree.

🌟🍁🍇

So gather, my friends, beneath the russet sky,
Where mushrooms, elderberries, and apples lie.
For ailments fade, and spirits soar,
In this season of plenty, we ask for no more.
