I’m piecing together fragments,
With hands that tremble, and a mind that rages,
Through the puzzle of my being,
Each corner, holds a different story,
Autism paints in vibrant hues,
A world that hums with endless tune,
Where lights are bright, and silence sings,
A universe in every room. Like a monsoon, enveloping all.
ADHD, a restless storm,
A hurricane inside my mind,
It pushes me, it pulls me fast,
Leaves clarity so hard to find, in the maelstrom of my mind
I stumble over hurdles tall,
Each day a marathon to run,
But every fall, I rise again,
Fixing cracks one by one, as older ones come undone.
Threads of focus come undone,
But I sew them back with gentle care,
Learning patience in the storm,
Breathing calm in every tear. Trying to understand every fear!
I’m not broken, just a mosaic,
For each piece a story, every scar, A tale,
Fixing myself is art in motion,
A masterpiece of who I am.
So here I stand, with tools in hand,
A work in progress, still I strive,
Through Autism’s dance, ADHD’s rush,
I build and rebuild myself, and feel alive some days.
