Firstly I would like to say the following. Any tablet is going to be hard pushed as it is replacing a Microsoft Surface Pro 6, which disappeared recently. Unfortunately, I am saving for an adventure so cost was absolutely essential, the replacement had to be under £100.00 not a penny over!
I found the FLYCOAY on Amazon and looked through the sketchy reviews that a child could have written, but after looking at many others I decided to take the plunge. What could go wrong, I bought it on a Credit Card so that is money-back and insurance so.
Chapter 1: Unboxing the Nebula
The packaging is a white box that states “Tablet PC” on the top facia, other than that it is a plain affair. More akin to Quality “Unbranded” Chocolate.
Picture this: You carfully open the packaging, and there it is—the FLYCOAY Tablet, nestled like a celestial artifact. The 10.4-inch screen winks at you, promising a cosmic journey. But wait, what’s this? It’s not just a tablet; it’s a whole constellation of goodies:
- 36GB RAM + 256GB ROM: That’s like having a memory palace with a walk-in closet.
- 2TB TF Slot: Yep, you can practically store the entire Milky Way in there.
- Octa-Core Processor: Eight cores, like a cosmic dance troupe synchronized for interstellar moves.
- 2000 x 1200 FHD INCELL Display: Crisp visuals that make your eyes do a double take.
- 4G LTE + 5G WiFi: Because even in deep space, you need good internet.
- 8000mAh Battery: It’s like a mini sun, powering your cosmic adventures.
- 13MP + 8MP Cameras: Capture alien landscapes or just your cat—it’s versatile.
Chapter 2: The Keyboard Constellation
But wait, there’s more! Included in this cosmic bundle are a keyboard and a mouse. Imagine typing emails on a keyboard while floating in zero gravity. 🌌 The keys are responsive, like stardust under your fingertips. And the mouse? It glides across the screen like a comet chasing its tail. The keyboard is a bluetooth affair with a single USB 3 charging port. Although very light it has a metal base and feels good to type on. Although it is clicky, but I like clicky.
The Mouse on the other hand is Bluetooth but requires 2 x AAA batteries (Not included) To be honest this is the second worst component of the system, it is lightweight plastic and comes with it’s own dongle although it is not needed. The worst component by the way is the Pen for use on the screen which I would have just not bothered including.
Chapter 3: The Cosmic Performance
So, how does this tablet perform? Well, it’s faster than a warp drive. Apps open like wormholes, and multitasking feels as smooth as a cosmic ballet. Whether you’re binge-watching your favourite series or analyzing alien data, the FLYCOAY keeps up. Ok so less of the drama, it is however Quick to open apps, and I’ve had no issues with lag at all.
Chapter 4: The Starlight Display
The 2000 x 1200 FHD INCELL display is where the magic happens. Colors pop like distant quasars, and the resolution is sharper than a supernova’s explosion. Whether you’re reading e-books or deciphering ancient alien glyphs, this screen won’t disappoint. In fact it is sharper than my Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra!
Chapter 5: The Black Hole Battery
The 8000mAh battery is your lifeline. It lasts longer than a cosmic epoch. Leave it on standby, and it won’t vanish like dark matter. But be warned: If you drain it completely, you might accidentally create a mini singularity. However other reviewers have said that battery life isn’t that good. However I charged mine to full, and it has been on for three days now without going below 90% although it hasn’t been gaming or doing anything strenuous apart from website development and browsing social media.
Conclusion: To Infinity and Beyond (Your Budget)
In summary, the FLYCOAY Tablet 10.4 Inch Android 14 is like having a piece of the cosmos in your hands. It’s powerful, versatile, and—dare I say—out of this world. Just remember, when you’re using it, you’re not just browsing; you’re stargazing. Would I recommend this, well it certainly fills the hole left by the MS Surface, and at this price I’d certainly recommend them. Even for the Children.
I did not try the 4g or 5g sim slot, although I have no doubt it works, as I use my S24U when mobile.
So go forth, fellow cosmic traveler! Explore, create, and may your tablet be your trusty spaceship. 🌠✨
Disclaimer: The FLYCOAY Tablet does not actually allow interstellar travel. But hey, it’s close enough! 😄🚀Please also note: I am not being paid for this review, I have no connections with FLYCOAY either.
